Winters Shadows

Went fishing yesterday, really slow. Found a few risers sippin midges. First fish I saw rising I got a nice drift right to him. He came up and boiled the water, but no take. Then nothing for a long time. Found a big hole about 2 hours later with fish everywhere. I only landed two, got them with a 20 adams. Beautiful fish though. Almost purple. I fished with a rod I built a while ago, but haven't used much. I t casts awesome whether casting dries or a two nymph rig up. So that is a good thing.
