Suckers
Every once in awhile you feel the urge to broaden your horizons or your fishing buddy says "you have got to come check this out". Cort and I have tried to hit the carp a few times together and ended up going out on bad days. Today was different, we had no excuses. I caught my 2nd carp ever and it was a 29 incher and even more special to me, it was on my 5wt bamboo rod I built. After the carp I caught 3 June Suckers. I have been wanting to catch one of these ever since Cort pulled one out.

Niiiice! we have some of these in our waters... have to try catch one some day.
I have fished that pond, thanks to Cort. I have yet to pull anything out of it though!
There are some good looking carp in there.
